Block B and Block C English 11:
Use the graphic organizer and introduction paragraph template that I gave you in class today to plan out your essay. Remember to look deeply at the texts we've studied to choose the most apt evidence you can to support your argument. Bring your work to class tomorrow--we will be working and writing with the mobile lab.
Block E Creative Writing:
You've chosen a scenario, and you are off and running (or rather, writing) in our Google classroom. Finish your funny scene and upload it (turn it in) by the end of the day on Friday. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Block F Honors English 12:
1. We talked about narrative voice and style today. Use the discussion to help you revise your personal narrative. Feel free to see me for help individually if you need it.
2. This weekend, I would like you to make an essay proposal--a working thesis and outline for the final paper you will write on the introductory texts we've studied thus far. Bring your working thesis and your outline (or mind map) to class on Monday. You will share your ideas in a structured discussion that we will have before you begin to write.
3. You should finish Room for Monday, and along with your 400 word reading response.
