Block C:
Read over the assignment for student presentations that I gave you today. Find a partner that you would like to work with, and make some notes about sections of the book that you might want to explore more carefully. We'll get organized tomorrow.
Block E:
Narrow down the list of motifs and choose one that you would like to write about. Look for evidence in both the novel and the film to support your motif. We'll start the essay process tomorrow.
Block F:
Read "On the Rainy River" for Thursday. You may use sticky notes (at least 4) to mark interesting moments or lines in the story, or you may do Cornell notes for the story instead. Be ready to discuss the story and do some work to create a visual when you arrive to class.
Also, remember that your final revision for your theme essay is due on Thursday!
