1.Study your new vocabulary words
2. Read and annotate the story "20 Minutes at Rucker Park." Look for connections to motifs, themes, and character between the story and the novel The Great Gatsby.
Block E:
Finish your final 3 components of your "Ten Ways" project due on Monday.
Block F:
Today, we finished watching the film adaptation of Hamlet. If you were not here due to testing, please watch the remaining section (see the link in yesterday's post).
To prepare for next week's collaborative activity, start thinking about Hamlet as it relates to the other texts we've studied this year. What similarities do you see between Hamlet's situation and those of the the other characters we've examined? What are some common motifs/themes? Next week, I will be asking you to write a one-pager on this topic, which we will then use as a jumping off point for an activity that we'll do together to conclude our study of the play.
