1. Use the yellow GOAT sheet to write a Reading Response on the film Stranger than Fiction. Remember to complete all parts of the assignment, and have it with you at the start of class so that we can share and discuss.

Complete pages 2 and 3 on the handout we started for Smoke Signals. We will resume the film when we meet again.

All Classes: If you missed today's vocabulary quiz, please make arrangements to make it up ASAP. You have until the next DAY ONE to make it up. 

Friday 10/2/15: Homework

Block B and Block C:
Study for Monday's vocabulary quiz.
Add your observations on Smoke Signals to your motif bubble chart. We will finish the film on Monday.

Block E:
Work on your character monologue due on Tuesday! Be sure to type it into a google document, as you will want to submit all parts of this project when it is complete.

Thursday 10/1/15: Homework

Block C:

1. Add your observations from the first part of Smoke Signals to your bubble motif sheet. If you did not do last night's homework using the poems we read in class, add your notes and observations from the poems to the motif bubble sheet as well.

2. Study for the next vocabulary quiz on Monday. Remember, if you missed last week's quiz, you need to make it up by this FRIDAY or it will be a zero.

Block E:

Work on your monologues due on Tuesday. Remember to meet in the mini-theater tomorrow for part 2 of Stranger than Fiction.
